Da li ste čuli za Giampaolo Mazzu? On je bio selektor sa najdužim stažom na svetu, u fudbalskoj reprezentaciji San Marina.Od 1998 do pre neki dan, ukupno 15 godina. Neko bi rekao „On je najneuspešniji trener ikad“ od 85 utakmica izgubio je 83, jedna nezvanična pobeda (protiv Linhenštajna) i jedan nerešen rezultat (protiv Letonije).San Marino je 201. na FIFA svetskoj listi……Kad nije selektor,Mazza je profesor fizičkog u jednoj školi.On za sebe kaže da je srećan i ponosan što je bio na čelu reprezentacije zemlje od 32000 stanovnika, gde su svi reprezentativci originalno iz San Marina. Za sve to vreme od 15 godina, on je uživao punu podršku svih gradjana San Marina, bez obzira na rezultat…Jedinu pobedu je nazvao „epskom“….Za tim tvrdi da napreduju i da igraju hrabro…..Koliko je teško voditi jedan tim , gde ti je cilj u 90% slučajeva da primiš što manje golova??….ALI, siguran sam da je Mazza stvarno srećan i ponosan i da ima o čemu da priča unucima. Razmislite malo koliko puta su sportisti u bilo kom sportu koji se takmiče pod grbom Srbije bili prozivani i kritikovani od javnosti zato što se nisu plasirali u finale… ili izgubili u četvrt finalu… ili bili 5…..ili bili 7…..ili bili 12..na nekom Evropskom ili Svetskom prvenstvu….bilo u odbojci, košarci, rukometu, vaterpolu,atletici ili u bilo kom individualnom sportu……Mislim da se često i previše zaboravlja da se radi o Svetskom prvenstvu … Ili o Evropskom…gde si ti npr. 7… pa to je fantastičan rezultat , biti 7 u Evropi……U kojoj je još oblasti života Srbija medju 10 u Evropi?…..Setimo se Maaze sa početka priče i možda bi bilo dobro da svako u nama ima ima bar jedan deo predanog, srećnog, ponosnog i upornog Mazze, zar ne?………
Have you heard of Giampaolo Mazza ? He was the longest-serving coach of national tam in the world, the football team of San Marino.From 1998 until few days ago , a total of 15 years. Some would say „He is the least successful coach ever,“ the 85 matches he lost 83, an unofficial victory ( against Lichtenstein ) and one draw ( against Latvia ). San Marino is ranked 207th on FIFA world list……. When he is not coaching , Mazza is a teacher of physical education at a school . He himself says that he is happy and proud of being at the forefront of the country’s national teams of 32,000 people, where all team members are originally from San Marino. During all this period of 15 years , he enjoyed the full support of all the citizens of San Marino, whatever the result was… The only success of his national team,he called “ epic “ …. For his team he said that they are progressing and playing with courage ….. How hard is it to lead a team , where your goal in 90 % of cases is that team receive less goals ? ? …. BUT , I’m sure Mazza is really happy and proud , and have many things to tell his grandchildren ….Think about how many times the athletes in any sport who compete under the emblem of Serbia were called out and criticized by the public because they did not qualify for the finals … or lost in the quarter-finals … or were 5.th ….or 7th …. at European or World Championship …. Whether in volleyball, basketball, handball, water polo , track and field , or in any individual sport .. I think that people too often forget that it was at World Championship … Or the European … where you won 7.th place .. that’s a fantastic result , to be 7.th in Europe …… In what sphere of life is Serbia as country among 10 in Europe??? ….. Just remember Mazza ,at the beginning of this story , and it might be good for each of us , to have a little piece of that Mazza inside
